If finance feels confusing — good.
It was designed to sound more complicated than it needs to. Theia teaches in layers: life first, markets second, numbers underneath. Here is the whole road, in five steps.
Understand what money is doing
Cash, assets, income, liquidity. Before markets, know which of your money can move, which can grow, and which is just resting between errands.
Understand what investing means
You are not just buying things. You are buying future claims: ownership, promises, cash flows — or, sometimes, just stories.
Understand risk
Risk is not only the price moving. Risk is also not understanding what you own — and finding out at the worst moment.
Understand your personality
Your investment style must fit your life, your patience, and your nervous system. A brilliant strategy you can't sleep through is not brilliant for you.
Then learn the numbers
Valuation, statements, ratios — they matter, and they come last. Numbers make sense only after the intuition exists.
Best first actions
What not to do first
All of this exists, and none of it is where anyone should begin:
- — Options
- — Leverage
- — Random stock tips
- — Day trading
- — Influencer screenshots
- — Complicated indicators before understanding risk
They all live at the dangerous table — Level 5. It will still be there when you arrive properly dressed.
Education, not financial advice. The point is not to know everything today — it is to stop feeling locked out of the conversation.
